The Islanders have won four of their last five and lead the Metropolitan Division with 74 points.
Sergei Bobrovsky had 24 saves on 27 shots for the Blue Jackets. Columbus had its four-game winning streak snapped. Seth Jones and Josh Anderson each saw their four-game points streaks snapped, and the Jackets fell seven points behind the Islanders in the Metro Division. Columbus will next play tomorrow night when they travel to Chicago to face the Blackhawks.
