Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa, Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray, and Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins are the three finalists for the 84th Heisman Trophy. The winner will be announced Saturday night in New York.
Murray is trying to make the Sooners the first school in history to have back-to-back Heisman Trophy-winning quarterbacks after Baker Mayfield won the award last year. Tagovailoa would become the first-ever ‘Bama QB to win the prestigious award.
Haskins has set Big Ten records for total offense, passing yards, and touchdowns. Haskins also won more Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week awards in one season than any other player since the award’s inception.
