Cincinnati manager David Bell and outfielder Yasiel Puig were both ejected during the Reds 5-1 loss to the Los Angeles Angels in Anaheim.
Bell and Puig were sent to the showers in the sixth inning by the home plate umpire after arguing balls and strikes.
The Reds offense was led by Joey Votto who homered for the second straight game.
It was a rough night for Jose Peraza, who was picked off at first base in the 2nd inning, and then allowed Wilfredo Tovar to score from 2nd on a fly-ball after believing it was the third out of the inning.
Tommy LaStella hit an inside-the-park home run for the Angels.
Cincinnati and Los Angeles will conclude their short two-game series tonight with first pitch set for 8:07 p.m.
