On Friday, January 3rd, 2020, Vince Koza passed away after a 3-month battle against cancer.

A 2007 inductee into the Associated Press Broadcasting Hall of Fame, Vince worked in TV and Radio in the Lima market for nearly 40 years. After working at WLIO-TV for 27 and a half years, Vince transitioned to radio full-time and worked here at 93.1 The Fan for over 12 years. He also wrote a weekly column for The Lima News for a long time, and his afternoon talk show Sportstalk with Koza also aired on WOSN for a period of time.

Survived by his wife, Holly, and their daughters, Brittany and Sarah, Vince left an incredible impact on the lives of all who knew him.

He was 61.
