According to a report from lettermenrow.com’s Jeremy Birmingham, former Georgia QB Justin Fields is transferring to Ohio State.
Fields was the #2 overall recruit in the country coming out of high school in 2017. He played in every game for Georgia, excluding Tuesday’s Sugar Bowl loss to Texas.
Fields, who stands at 6’3 and 230 pounds, sat behind Jake Fromm, a projected top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, at Georgia.
Current backup quarterback Tate Martell has been vocal in his ability to beat any incoming quarterbacks for the starting position, should starter Dwayne Haskins leave for the NFL draft.
