Reports out of Cleveland today say Lima native Tyler Ulis worked out for the Cavaliers.
Ulis, who was cut by the Phoenix Suns earlier this summer, looks to be competing for a final roster spot for the Cavs. Cleveland has 12 players on the roster, but are expected to re-sign Rodney Hood and it’s believed they have a deal in place with David Nwaba.
This is the first reported workout for Ulis, who started 43 games for the Suns before being waived in June.
Sources: The Cleveland Cavaliers worked out a number of free agents today, including Tyler Ulis, JaKarr Sampson, Alan Williams and Marcus Georges-Hunt.
