The Reds top prospect Nick Senzel injured his ankle in a minor league game. The club is waiting for the results of a MRI on the severity of the injury. X-rays were negative. He was hurt sliding into second base.
The Reds reassigned Senzel to the minor league camp on Friday.
He hit .308 in 12 Cactus League games, while learning to play center. Senzel was the second overall pick in the 2016 draft.
