Kevin Stefanski says that he hopes that the Baker Mayfield situation “is resolved soon.”  The Browns head coach addressed the media at the league’s annual meeting in Florida yesterday, telling reporters he wants “closure.”  Mayfield is on the trading block after the team traded for Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson earlier this month.  While the Browns were discussing the Watson trade, Mayfield requested a trade, but Cleveland reportedly denied the request when it looked like the team was out of the running on Watson.  With Watson now on roster, the Browns have been shopping their former starting quarterback, whose base salary is over 18-million dollars in 2022.
